24-hour tension headaches are not fun. *pouts* Especially when we're out of Advil and Tylenol doesn't actually work.

Although, [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com]'s back meds aren't doing a bad job - it's down to a dull roar.

My kingdom for a neck and shoulder massage.

Edit: This means I'm not exactly all there - some of my email replies have been a bit 'd'uh' inducing and I'm beyond logging. I'll try again tonight.

*snugs*

If this is a reoccuring thing you might want to ask a doctor about a flexeril prescription. It does wonders for tension headaches/migraines.

That really sucks. Can you get an equivilent to Mersyndol over the counter there at all? I have no idea what Canada's like on codeine but it has crap all of that but a lot of a really nice muscle relaxant.

*grins* On account of how I'm not really allowed to have anything prescription, it's the only thing that works for me most of the time these days, so it's also the one I try to not take except in emergencies.

Similar: They'd probably be closer to what wikipedia calls Tylenol 2, but that doesn't have the doxylamine succinate in:

Paracetamol 450mg per tablet; Codeine Phosphate 9.75mg per tablet; Doxylamine Succinate 5mg per tablet -- that's the NZ version. The Australian only has 8mg of codeine.
