Good day

Things that are Good:

1) Beautiful sunshiney day, despite predictions of rain all weekend;

2) Stopping off at Chapters and finally using the gift card [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] got me for my birthday and indulging guilt-free - I now have the two latest Harry Dresden books instead of the one I was planning for and I don't mind the extra $20 at all;

3) Finding out that as of yesterday, I hadn't even touched my overdraft. That's changed now, but not hugely;

4) Going for brunch and doing the crosswords from Friday, sitting in the sun;

5) Going to the gym (yeah, I know I should have done that before eating, but I had a food flat on bigtime and needed fuel first) and watching the first couple of innings of the Jays game whilst pedalling my arse off (literally!) on the stationary bike (all my back/hip/knee will let me do atm);

6) Anticipating going to the pub to watch the rest of the game with the roomie;

and 7) Passing a toddler and her father walking along the park, and the little girl singing "I like to move it, move it; I like to move it, move it." It was the most adorable thing ever.

Now to check my laundry has finished washing so I can dump it in the dryer, shower and the rest of the Jays stomping on the Nationals. They were 5-0 at the middle of the second inning when I left the gym.

You know, considering that I live near DC I should root for the Nats - but I hate how the fans clog the metro and how they suck. So go Jays!

Dude, it's the Nationals. I think local Little League teams could beat the Nats. :D

But that sounds like a lovely morning, indeed. Especially the toddler. :)

Hee! Thanks for this, I really needed the pick me up this morning. *sings* I like to move it, move it!
