Wah

So, it's almost 11 a.m, the temperature is already 33 degrees C (91 F). With 59% humidity, that adds up to a "feels like" temperature of 45 C (113 F). The office is bearable - they keep our air con to 26 C - but the thought of going outside later is just cringe worthy.

Who says global warming is a myth again? This is as bad as Italy was last summer.

Distraction would be awesome today. I need a meme.

It's unbelievably hot - I'm so glad I swung by Harris Teeter's on the way into work to grab something for lunch. And tomorrow's supposed to be worse down here!

Thank god for the A/C - I've got it pumping on full blast at home because of Marion and the one at work is pretty good (also, I have a fan at my desk and that puppy is going full blast).

*wince* Oh man, that's brutal. I'd also suggest that if you have room in your freezer, put your pillow cases in there a few hours before you go to bed. That does wonders.

I will be getting some of this unlovely weather today, tomorrow, and on Saturday. After that, American supercomputers state that it will vanish, leaving our rural gulag with reasonable summer weather once again. I feel that everything in life would improve dramatically if I were able to escape back to Southern Ontario, with the exception of having to deal with those foul humid Southern Ontario summer days.

That's way too hot, wow. :( People here complain that we're not getting much of a summer but I'd rather be on the lower end of the scale than on the uber high end like that. x.x

Damn. That's hot even for me and I LIKE humidity. YIPE.

Don't forget to hydrate - humidity can make people forget to drink since they don't feel thirsty because their mouths don't go as dry!
