Long as they don't decide they need a knife to fend you off.
On one memorable occasion, someone said she wouldn't want to be in a room with me without a knife to fend me off.
And in comparison to my writing *today*, the story she was commenting on was fairly tame.

It's interesting, the sort of stories people produce. Some write what you'd expect them to write, from your perceptions of them - most don't. And then there's the range within a particular writer - I'm sure that someone who knows me for my early GenX fluff or Subreality stories would be taken aback by the graphic violence of "Suffer the Children".
