I'm such an utter doofus. In the process of answering the phone this evening I managed to drop the whole thing into a sink of water. Needless to say it doesn't work now. Which is really annoying because a) I was in the middle of talking to Mum; b) I was going to call Amanda and c) it's going to cost me to replace.

*sighs*

Sometimes my clumsiness confounds me.

Give it a while to dry out and try it again. I don't know what phone you are using, but unless it was ringing at the time, there is a chance that it will work again once it dries out.

i vote for letting it dry... banging on the bench a few times.. and serupticiously replacing it with one 'borrowed' from an empty cubicle at work. (thats why working back late is good!)
