Oxymorons and other fun things.

I've been getting spam lately telling me all the wonderful products that I can use to eliminate spam. Which strikes me as just really stupid. Then again, I'm also being offered products to make my non-existent penis grow to a size that would make the demons in "Legend of the Overfiend" reach for the extra pair of socks to stuff down the trousers, so who am I to judge the intelligence of spammers?

Last night's training was pretty good. I now have a new vocation - Crash Test Dummy. We've got a couple of people grading for black belt soon and one of them needed someone to demonstrate kata applications on, so I spent the evening having my arm twisted up behind my back and being tossed onto the floor, sans mats. After the grading I think I'll offer my services as Crash Test Dummy to the car manufacturers - it'll mean living in Sweden and wearing nothing but a lot of yellow stickers, but hey, who am I to stand in the way of what is surely a destined vocation?

Besides, it beats working at PERIN.

I hate time zones. 'Cause I'm excrutiatingly bored, and all the Aussies are busy, and all the Northern 'Spherers are probably doing something silly like sleeping, and there's been no email in my inbox since I got back from court. It also means no-one's updating their LJs, and I've read everything already.

*sighs*

Why is it so nice and sunny outside? I should be out there, not stuck in here with not a whole lot to do.

Maybe I should get a job picking fruit or something. At least it's outdoors and there's always plenty of fruit...

I'm such an utter doofus. In the process of answering the phone this evening I managed to drop the whole thing into a sink of water. Needless to say it doesn't work now. Which is really annoying because a) I was in the middle of talking to Mum; b) I was going to call Amanda and c) it's going to cost me to replace.

*sighs*
