HAAAATE

If someone says the word "Blackberry" to me again today, I'm going to break out in hives.

No, the IT guy still hasn't showed. Bastard.

Speaking as a former IT guy, I'd have to say this:

That sounds like "I had every intention of going to synch up the Blackberries but then I got ambushed/sidetracked by something serious and couldn't get away".

I could be wrong, but it's possible.

You don't always get that chance, though.

I mean, you try to, but ...

Or - it's possible your IT people are asshats.

I'm guessing.

Yeah, any tech guy that doesn't show up for a day and a half and counting? Sucks. Any IT department that continues to lie (because, really, that's what they're doing at this point) sucks. I hope their Director gets an earful.

Nth-ing. I do blackberry support. (I HATE THEM THEY ARE EVIL EVEN IF I LOVE MINE) and frankly? Your tech guy's a jackass.

It's a customer support position as well as a technical one, and it takes 2 minutes to dash off an email that says "We had an emergency outage and can't take care of you guys today, I'll call as soon as we can."

The kind of tech guys who don't are also the ones who think all their users are complete and utter retards simply because they don't work in IT.

Oh, yeah, your tech guy's a jackoff. If it's something that easy to fix....
