The scary thing? I ended up 'fixing' it. I think. *fingers crossed* Here's hoping the courier company doesn't 'lose' it.

Oh, yeah, your tech guy's a jackoff. If it's something that easy to fix....

Basically had to switch off the wireless syncing function and let it sync with the desktop, then turn the function back on again. Presto, personal address book and calendar. *headdesks* And I've never touched a Blackberry before in my life - this is from the two hours on the phone with the helpdesk yesterday.
