Note to self

Dear me,

If you want to be kind to your self esteem, perhaps lay off wearing the wool skirt with the tartan pattern you got when you were 16 until you lose the ten or so pounds that make you too big for it now? Having to unzip your skirt to half-way down is making you feel like a pregnant whale right now.

And Fred isn't appreciating it either.

Gently,

Yourself.

*hugs* Use it as a test piece of clothing. I've got a pair of jeans that don't quite fit me at the moment that I use as an incentive to lose the weight. When I fit into them again, I know I'm at a good spot to go into maintenance mode.

I know how that feels. I've been going through a bit of a hard getting the motivation period recently which made me go up again in weight. Had pants getting tight again which wasn't for the happy making.

Just remember that weight loss is a process and considering what time of month it is, bloating isn't uncommon. :) Especially since you have been working out lately, I'd think it wasn't all due to gaining weight. Could be some fluid retention there.

But your weight also goes up and down, depending on the time of the month and things like dehydration.

*nods* I've got things that do that. I actually hate them more than the ones which just don't fit at all.

Aaargh, I've done that. It's less than fun. Maybe try wearing a turtleneck under your greyish dress next time? Warm yet skirt?

Have you considered wooly tights? Keeps the legs warm and a lot of them come with tops that sort of help smooth things out. I feel tons better wearing anything close fitting and without seams to hide behind (like a dress) with them on, though, I usually get nylontypes.
