Riddle me this...

How is it someone can fall asleep at 8:30, sleep until 1 a.m. and then go to bed, sleep again until 7:30 a.m., except for a brief waking when her cat somehow causes an avalanche in her closet, and then be tired all the next day? Seriously, I got almost 12 hours of sleep, I can't still be sleepy!

Appetite's off, too. I got soup and a tuna sandwich for lunch. Managed the sandwich, but only half the soup, since I'm full. And I had to force myself to eat lunch yesterday, too. And this with gym going.

It's all very strange. Also annoying, since I have a plot to run and I'm having trouble remembering what I'm supposed to be doing next.

Here's hoping the power of Coke saves me.

Low glucose levels. Body doesn't have enough fuel because you burned too much of it while you were asleep and haven't refueled properly.

How often do you eat in a day? I suggest gatorade and see if that helps at all.

Ugh. So taking a packet of nuts or an apple to work for afternoon tea would be pointless then, since it won't be eaten anyway?

Disrupted REM cycles. I've slept 16 hours before, waking every 1-2 hours for whatever reason and been absolutely drained. You need to hit deep sleep cycles for the best refreshening.

Maybe you slept a little too long? That sometimes happens with me - I sleep more than perhaps normal and I'm all out of whack the next day.
