Well, my mood's improved out of sight compared to what it has been this last few days. Enough that I feel the urge to be twee and post a Gratitude Journal entry. *grins* Flee now, while you can!

Things I'm grateful for:

1) An excellent tai chi session, taught by Seifu Charles from the school in Melbourne. One of those true gurus, the kind of person who merely has to touch you on the shoulder and everything clicks into place. And we did the social thing afterwards, which was a lot of fun. Talked of starting up a Friday evening practice session with possible dinner options afterwards.

2) The twenty km bike ride I did out to BRM's soon to be ex-place at Baranduda. Glorious cycling weather, sunny, but cool, and I enjoyed it far more than I thought I would.

3) My parents lending me the car to help BRM out this evening. He's riding his touring bike here, then I'm driving him back to Baranduda.

4) Maelstrom's feedback for Summer Heat. Pillow whappings and all. *grins* I swear, that fic has broken more minds than the rest of my stuff combined, including Suffer the Children and the exploding pigeons., or Heroes and the school massacre. The feedback was even better for being totally unexpected. Thanks, mate. :)

5) Mel and Seraph, who never forget me and always manage to phone just when I need them to.

***

I'm off now - like I said, gotta do some driving tonight, once BRM drags his butt here. He's crashing here tonight, in order to avoid awkwardness at Baranduda - yes, it's that bad. *shakes head* He needs to learn to be a tad more tolerant - hopefully living with another bloke will be less taxing.
