Mental note - passing out whilst on the phone to a telemarketer is an effective, if overly dramatic, way to stop them from bothering you.

Yep, the bath strikes again. I got dragged out to answer the phone, and was in the process of telling the woman on the other end that I was happy with Optus (and naked except for a towel and dripping soap suds besides), when the world went all cold and grey and fuzzy. I woke up half-slumped on the couch, with my towel at half-mast. It took me another ten minutes of lying on the floor to feel up to standing, and an hour and a half on the couch after struggling to get some clothes on. Judging from the pain on the right side of my face, I managed to drive my glasses into my orbital socket when I connected.

*icks* I still feel gross. And the worst thing? If I'd really hurt myself, no-one would have found me until tomorrow. Mum and Dad are on their way back from a funeral, and I'd dropped the phone off the hook when I fainted. Sobering thought.

Eep. *hugs* Hope you're okay.

Are you eating well? Was it just from the bath, do you think?

*concerned look*

There are some things that require rushing out of a shower or a bath: earthquakes, hurricanes, a serial killer. . . Phone calls rate low on the grand scale of things. ;) I usually let the answering machine pick it up (saves having to deal with telemarketers, too).

Drink plenty of water, hon. (*hugs*) Good that you're taking care of yourself.

Maelstrom :)

Good grief, Rossi, take care of yourself. Any way you can get some kind of medical monitoring system?

The thought that nobody'd know can be a frightening one. Back when I wasn't working, if I would've slipped in the shower and snapped my neck, there were high odds the door to my apartment wouldn't have been opened for *months* to find me dead. It was a disturbing thought. Now that I'm working, I'm thinking maybe it wouldn't take that long, although I'm totally unsure whether co-workers have a legal possibility to file missing persons reports about their co-workers...

Ack!
