"One of us is packing things in boxes..."

deathpixieFound a cure to the tetchiness of the last couple weeks - give me definite dates for things. *grins*
See, I'm a pixie of action. I'm happiest when I'm doing, or at least actively planning, with some idea of when things are happening. But over the past few weeks, I've been in a rather annoying limbo state, not being able to get stuff organised and waiting on people and events. Any way, my parents came over for lunch today, and we discussed things, and I'm moving out of here in two weeks and staying with them for the first couple of weeks of July, until I fly out. So I can actually start packing, and get BRM to remove the rest of his stuff, and do things, and this makes me a very happy pixie.
For which you are all very glad, no doubt. No more strange outbursts in chat. ;) At least until next month. *winks* Bloody hormones.
Two weeks... yikes. Still, got most of the study packed, and half my books - need another box and a happier back. ;) I'm doing a couple of hours paid overtime Monday night - supervising a video link for the local branch of the Law Institute. For this they're giving me $100, which has already been spent on My Friend the Chocolate Cake tickets next weekend. *grins* Well, it's about time I was all extravagant and reckless - I've been Frugal Freddie for the past six months, almost, and since Sydney has been cancelled on account of me not getting time off, I deserve this. As does Yasmin, who is my date for the evening. ;) It looks like I won't even have to pay train fare - BRM is heading down the same weekend, and on the condition we don't snipe at each other, I can cadge a lift.
Actually, that's not really a concern - we're getting on a lot better these days, and once the furniture thing is finalised, it'll be easier. it's the gradual removal of things, bit by bit, that makes it hard. Like the scenes in High Fidelity where his ex keeps coming by to pick things up.
So, progress is a good thing. As are concerts. And new albums. *dances* I can't wait!
