Monday I joked to Mel about how I had all this sick leave and no chance to take it. Bad joke. Because today I not only slept through the alarm, I slept through most of the day. Until 2.50 pm, to be precise. I'm still exhausted, my joints ache and my head throbs. I'm supposed to eat something and can't summon up the energy to do it. There's also an intermittent dry cough. I'm guessing mum's flu has made the transition - either that or one of our wonderfully unhealthy regulars at work. And somehow I have to go to work tomorrow, since it's a court day and they need me to benchclerk.

*flops* I don't feel hugely ill, just no energy at all. Weird. But still, gotta learn to keep my big mouth shut around the Newbie Who Writes My Life. He or she just has too much of a sense of irony.

But, good news! cynjen sent me a nifty book on things to do in London! *smooches* Thanks, mate! You just scored your very own packet of Tim Tams. *grins*
