World's End...

Assuming it's the one in Camden, across from the station, it's got a long history, especially twined with comics. World's End was named such because it was across the street from the execution grounds. Mother Shipton used to make her prophecies there, sipping her ale and watching men twitch at the end of a rope.

Alan Moore apparently wrote half of 'From Hell' sitting there. Ellis' first arc for Hellblazer starts in Camden, close to the pub, and you can see it in a couple of backgrounds. And Gaimen used to frequent it, at least so his blog states
