I have been to Banff, in fact I went there last April so I know what you're talking about for all the tourist and gift shops. If you pass through Banff again, make your way to the fifties food place. It's called 'Ti'Bifsplinks' I believe, has the best burgers and fries and milkshakes I have ever tasted. Mmmmmmmm.
