So, I'm sitting here at nearly three in the afternoon, wrapped up in a blanket and feeling by turns freezing cold and boiling hot. There's also the moments of dizziness, the overwhelming weariness, the occasional cough, and the fact I didn't even wake up until 11 this morning.

Yep, I'm sick. Whoo hoo.

Actually, it's kinda good, in a way. It means that I wasn't on crack back in Atlanta when I came down with exactly the same symptoms and threw them off again by the next day or so. Random 24 hour virus thing. So I'm drinking lots of water and spending the day on the couch.

And no, there's no alcohol been involved. Get that thought out of your heads.

Last night was a blast. Tim Freedman from the Whitlams playing with the Australian Chamber Orchestra extended arrangements of his songs. Great stuff. And there were some chamber pieces beforehand, which was also cool since I don't usually listen to stuff like that. I think I'm going to have to search out from John Adams compositions - I really enjoyed the piece they played.

There may be writing later. If I can stay awake long enough.
