So, I've had my interview and a very long relaxing bath. I feel better now.

Actually, the interview went pretty well. The people were friendly, the office space was pretty good (the 23rd floor of a building in Queen Street, just around the corner from where I am now), with lots of natural/incandescent light (PERIN has nothing but florescents, and I'm sure it's partly behind why I'm so tired lately), and the work sounds actually interesting - they assign one Legal Admin person (that would be me) to three lawyers working for the federal prosecutors. And it seems like there might be research involved too - wow, actually using my tertiary education, what a novel concept! As far as I know, the interview itself went well too - I was friendly but professional, knowledgeable but not stiff. And I'm pretty sure I impressed them.

There are two positions. I find out in two to three weeks. I'm guessing three, with Easter this weekend.

The pay at entry level isn't a whole lot different to what I'm earning now (but I dont' think they'd put me on that, mainly because of my previous training), but even if they don't put me on higher, I'm tempted to take it if it's offered. The idea of somewhere away from the malaise that is Magistrates' courts, the chance to do something different... Yeah, it's tempting. Although I'm possibly counting small fuzzy avians before their emergence.

Man, I hate this whole job-seeking process. My shoulders are just a mass of knots now, even after the bath (although they are better - scary, huh?). Oh for a live-in massuse...
