I excuse my watching of Big Brother and Survivor by saying it's a study in human relationships and just what people will do when faced with the idea of winning a shitload of cash.
Other then that, to me, reality shows are about relaxing. I work in a job where you have to think every single minute of the the 8 hours you're there. Not only thing but figure out just exactly what could have gone wrong. IE: Stupid user, verses actual problem. Sometimes it's good just to watch something fun.
