I had a look at the cover for the CD that has the song (the He Died With A Falafel In His Hand soundtrack, BTW) and discovered that the person I thought was Nick is indeed someone called Rowland S. Howard, who may or may not be the original artist for the song - I'm not sure. But he sure sounds like Nick Cave, especially when the soundtrack has two Nick Cave songs on it and I couldn't tell the difference. So, apologies for misleading you there.
