What do you look like?

Kinda average, really. Medium height, sporty kind of build, – not too much so, tho’. Just comfortably fit – eyes that have been described as “khaki” (hazel), short dark brown (for the moment) hair. Tanned after six months of summer. *grins* I tend to favour comfortable clothes of the jeans and shirt range, although I can scrub up pretty nicely.

What was the happiest moment of your life?

Hrm, this one’s hard to nail down. There’s been a lot of happy times, but I can’t specifically say any one that was the happiest. The recent trip to Launceston is probably in the Top 5, but I guess I’m still waiting for the big one.

The saddest?

This one’s sort of obvious, but breaking up with BRM. That’s possibly the lowest I’ve ever been. If that’s as bad as it gets, though, I think I’ll have done well.

Close second would be the time when my Dad had his Vietnam-related nervous
Breakdown. Some really scary shit happened.

What is the most accomplished thing you take credit for?

My black belt in karate. My degree.

1. What was the worst fic you've ever read? Or, if the memory is too painful, the best?

The memory isn’t so much painful as absent – I don’t tend to remember the bad stuff very well. There was a howler of a Marty Stu fic I betaed which fortunately never saw the light of day after I was done with it.

Best? “Under A Blue Kentucky Sky” by Benway. I keep nominating it for Fanfic Hall of Fame in the CBFFAs every year in the hope its worth will be recognized.

2. "Shower"?

From [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com]’s treatment of the same meme – she called them shower interviews, I guess because five questions are easy enough to answer in the same time it takes to shower. Or maybe something kinkier. *grins*

3. Have you ever gotten really, really angry at anyone online? Enough to consider either quitting a fandom or breaking off all communications with said person?

Of course. I wouldn’t be human if I didn’t get angry. And yes, I’ve been tempted to toss in the towel on the whole fanfic thing, mainly out of a sense of exasperation than anything else, but then I remind myself that whilst there are people who drive me insane, there are far more I count as good friends, especially those who were there for me when I needed them.

4. What's your favourite quote or words of wisdom?

I have two. One’s Abe Lincoln, and I quote it a lot in fanficcer arguments: ”He has a right to criticize who has a heart to help.”

And the second one is a quote from a sticker on my fridge that came from a bike helmet company: ”It’s not what you are that holds you back, it’s what you think you are now.” One I would do well to remember. ;)
