Okay, I know these things are a bunch of hooey, but I can't help laughing at how close this stuff is for me. Or maybe I'm just focusing on those parts of my personality that _do_ fit. ;)

Any way, the results of the test Indi found...

Joanne:

You have a love of travel and adventure, and you enjoy sports. You also have a very strong sense of fair play and want justice. You have a great deal of loyalty to those you love. You have much inner strength. You have much enthusiasm with a driving attitude toward achievement in life. You can handle details well. You have a methodical mind. You must learn to give 'wise' service and not be a martyr. You can be quite inventive and quite curious.

Lee:

You are fair-minded sometimes to the point of being opinionated. You have a strong need to be loved and appreciated. You need to learn to be expressive. You are a person who cannot tolerate being misunderstood. You need to learn to be expressive. You are a person who cannot tolerate being misunderstood.

[*grins* Spot the double letter, folks]

Howard:

You are an 11th hour person, always succeeding just in the nick of time. The lesson of money is prominent in your life. You need to learn flexibility. You have high aspirations and a cheery disposition. You have a need to be up front. You enjoy a challenge. You can take thought-directed actions. You have a discriminating nature coupled with perseverance and family pride.

I'll do the nick later. :)

BTW, forgot to thank and huggle Ana for the nifty logo she did for me. :)

It's great being able to look around me, and see somethign other than buildings; I was walking back fromt he shop with the milk, and I looked over towards the hills at the back of this part of Wodonga, and I could see the mist hugging the hilltops, and the trees, and I remember feeling more at peace than I have in a long time. It as like being on the farm again, the one we had when I was in high school, the first home we owned after a childhood of Army housing, and more than anything just then I wanted to walk up to the top of those hills and feel the mist on my face, the cold air biting my nose and ears. Of course, I couldn't just then, because I had the milk in my hand and it was getting dark, but it was a tempting thought, nonetheless. I'd forgotten how much I love this country.

Not quite as tired tonight, although I was glad BRM made dinner - risotto, something I can't do, with my rice curse. And I got another shoulder rub, although I hope I haven't ruined the good result by sitting at the computer writing another RR post. Still feel sorta crappy; could just be my period, although scratchy sore throats aren't amoung my usual PMT symptoms.

(Side note: why is it something so normal has to involve so much pain, mess and inconvenience? Bah.)

I'm feeling very accomplished. I learned a couple of things today:

*How to avoid the simple posting screen on livejournal *bestows Tim Tams of thanks on Indigo*

*How to post to other comunity journals. Big d'uh to me.

*Where they keep the protection applications for kids at work that aren't on the system.

I also got to meet the boss of the region, David. Pretty cool bloke, and he's going to keep fighting to get my position made full time, which would be great. However, he's been trying for years, so I won't hold my breath. :P

Funny endnote: In my Collective Mutants stories, I had a character called Talon, a wanna-be mutant who had his face tattooed and his teeth filed to points. Today I filed papers relating to a kid called... I kid you not... Talon. I swear, some of the mothers around here are on crack when they name their children.
