Yep, freezing out. You know it's winter when I drag out the big fluffy cycling jacket. I'm off soonish to book club - only a fifteen minute walk away, which is good. Need something to wake me up after sitting all day in a warm courtroom. Over-warm, too - I've been so dehydrated after court because of the warm dry air in there.
*yawns* Hope I can stay awake. It's been an exhausting couple of weeks, both on court days and office days, and I'm looking forward to the weekend. Gonna head over to Albury on the Saturday and see if Midnight Nation #11 is in my comic shop, and perhaps see Star Wars: Attack of the Clones. Although that will require a check of my finances first - I have over $200 in electricity and phone bills to pay (and that's with BRM paying his half), and I don't get paid again until next Thursday. I'm not sure how much money I have in my bank account, but I know there isn't much past what I need for the bills. *sighs* Money sucks. Wish that damn backpay would come through - it's supposed to before the end of the month. Even with careful planning, I'm going to need whatever it is to pay off my plane tickets - Sydney is still unsure, until I find out how much it is I'm supposed to be getting.
Sometimes being a responsible grown up is really sucky.
