(no subject)

Being at work after hours is kind of strange. The building is quiet, except for the radio in the background, mostly dark, except for the office where I am, and I'm the only one here. I'm free from the phones ringing or people coming to the counter to pester me, and all the rest of it.

It's kinda nice, like those fantasies as a child of being locked in the shopping centre after hours. *grins* Except there's less scope for amusing myself. I've been trawling LJs and those archives I can remember the addies for, and I had my dinner - leftover veggie pasta from last night, which I was sorry to come to the end of, since it was so good. Times like this I wish I could call someone, but it'd be hard to explain hour-long long distance calls after hours. Times like this I miss talking to David - I used to call him on these Wednesdays, biding time until tai chi, and chat.

Thanks to those who emailed me at work - I've been enjoying seeing non-work stuff in my account. I hope my replies have come through okay.

*grins* And the radio is psychic, playing Diana Ah Naid's "Perfect Family" now. Love this song, even if it does have that bitter edge. :)

(no subject)

I have feet. I know I have feet, because I can see them at the end of my legs and my ug boots would fall if if they weren't there.

But I can't feel them at all, except for this painful tingling as blood and warmth start circulating again.

Yep, it's another cold night. Gloves during tai chi, because my hands were so cold they were hurting, and a ride home like a bat out of hell just to keep the blood flowing. Needless to say, I don't do cold well; especially when it's zero degrees Celsius again. Gonna go have a shower before bed so I'm nice and warm, and install the hot water bottle again.

*brrs* Weather like this always brings out the Ghosts of Arthritis To Come - all my tricky joints are making their presences flet tonight. :P
