Signed and sealed
Jan. 24th, 2003 03:28 pmNot long back from signing my new lease and collecting the keys. I am now no longer homeless - I have a place to call my own, for the next year, at least. Which will probably be how long it takes me to get the itchy traveller's feet again. *grins*
Everything's set for tomorrow - despite the bushfire threat up home, my parents and brother are coming down tomorrow morning with my stuff. Phil's been lined up for portage assistance, mainly because it's going to be a stinker of a day tomorrow (40 degrees C predicted) and it's in everyone's interests to get stuff unloaded and inside as quickly as possible in the morning. Gas and electricty are all happening, phone shouldn't be too far behind, and I'll sort out a new ISP next week once I'm sure I've got the phone sorted out. Besides, Hotkey has an all-points number now, so it isn't a long distance call to connect. Mind you, with how slow it is, I'm still changing over.
*bounces in her seat* It's all happening, finally. Happy me.
Now I just have to get through another hour and a half of work. Bleah. Still, public holiday on Monday for Australia Day, whoopie!
