Okay, I'm back online and feeling a lot better. Not 100%, because I'm still working at PERIN and so help me, if I don't get out of here soon you'll be reading about the court clerk who went on a rampage and stapled her co-workers to the floor, but a lot better than I was. And I'm making moves to correct the bits that are still a problem - tomorrow I'm off to the doctor for the first time since last July for a full checkup. I'll also be telling her (I go to a clinic with all-female doctors, which is great), all about the fatigue and the dizzy spells and the occasional fainting fits, as well as a couple of other things. All of which will probably add up to a blood sample to check my iron levels, but so be it. (note: I really, really hate needles. I've progressed past the fainting and the hysteria, but it still takes a lot of will to sit in that damn chair whilst they take blood. Injections aren't so bad because they're generally in the muscle - finding veins hurts. And I can see it. Bleah.)

I'm also waiting to hear for both the CDPP job which I interviewed for week before last, and the Flight Centre one whic has it's final week for contacting me this week. And plenty of jobs I have to sort through - I signed up on Seek.com.au and I've been inundated with possibles.

But best of all, I've been in touch with some people, and cleared some stuff up, which makes for the less-stressed Rossi. I'm not going into detail, but basically I'm feeling much better about a lot of things than I was last week. Even to the point where I was writing again last night. :) And I spoke to Doqz, and Dex, and my parents rang too, and I'm calling Cupcake tonight, and Melancamp on Tuesday. And I saw a lot of Phil on the weekend, so I'm feeling very loved - lots of people are still speaking to me, and that's all of the Good.

Work's dull - I'm sorting appeal files alphabetically for the appeals clerk, seeing how revocations are out of work again. But I have a karate social thing on Wednesday to look forward to, and X-Men 2 on Thursday, and my birthday's in 12 days - which is a hint to the Southern Stars crew to write me Crisis Point fic. :)

Apologies for various weirdnesses - I've been letting stuff get to me again. But all that's locked up where it won't embarrass me any more. ;)

I forgot to tape last week's episode when I went to Bowling for Columbine last Tuesday, so any of the Maelstrom that still has it on tape will be bestowed with a copy of the third Andrew Denton Musical Challenge CD should they give me access to it. If they want the CD, of course. ;)

Gotta stop doing that, missing Buffy. It's not like I have that many obsessions - I'm not even buying comics at the moment.

Just back from lunch, and I treated myself. Only fair, considering I haven't bought a new CD since... *thinks hard* January.

*happydances* I have the new David Bridie CD!

And I'm only a couple of songs in, and it sounds wonderful.

The only problem is that it says it's copy protected. I'll confirm that upon going home and putting it in the iBook - I understand the whole wanting to make money out of this CD, but man, it's gonna suck if I can't addict all my friends with selected tracks. Doesn't the Aussie music industry know I'm the best advertising they have? Well, maybe not quite, but still.

I'm ripping the David Bridie CD as I type. The only things the protection does is a) make it unplayable in my elderly CD player, and b) made it make horrible noises in my iBook when I played it in there. Silly companies.

And it still rocks. Happy me.

Trusty, re Buffy I can hang on - I'll have to any way, since the next episode is Tuesday, and get the tape off you when you're done with it, rather than opening a new one. My birthday's weekend after next, and I guess we're doing something - still have to think what, but I can grab it off you then. *hugs* Thanks a bunch.

Now to get offline and call [livejournal.com profile] seraangel before she kicks my arse. Figuratively speaking, of course. *grins* Especially since I know her ticklish spots and she doesn't know mine. ;)
