On a secondary note, I was contemplating running a bettign pool on Dex and Doqz's chances of surviving Europe, and by what means they would come undone, but I don't think I could have anticipated the saga that has been their trip. For horrified giggles, go read their travel LJ [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com]

Okay, so I've got a list of hostels to go through with Phil, the first few emails letting me know who's coming, and questions about itinerary... Auscon is lurching along. I think I've gone a little too much the other way with the whole organising thing - after od-ing during Walkabout and hanging out with Mel and Phil, I've developed a definite "eh" attitude towards anything that needs planning. Possibly not a good thing when you're organising a ficcer convention. Oh well, it'll all pan out okay. And I have help, kinda.

And [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com]? No doing anything by you until after you're done with exams. I'm fine, Phil is going to help me with the hostelquest, and I'd prefer you concentrate on what's important right now. And don't apologise. ;)

Hmm, also need to sort out the New Years' thing. Damn, I forgot to call mum and dad last night - I'll have to try tonight, before training. Ugh, that's going to be painful - we were doing mat work on Monday and the girl I was grappling with managed to pin my leg whilst flipping me over, so I've strained my (already dodgy) hip and a few tendons down to the knee. It's not too bad, just stiff, with a tendency to lose power after I use it too much - definitely no kicks tonight, tho'.

I did get the VCR to a repair place last night - they give free quotes adn are going to let me know the situation today. They didn't seem to think it would be too major a job, so here's fingers crossed.

Hmm, I think I'm going to have to do one of my trusty "To Do" lists - there's too much I have to get done and too much I'm forgetting.
