deathpixie: (drunk)
So, house hunting yesterday. After riding Cecil down to St Kilda, cycling between real estate agents and flats, and then cycling back to Brunswick again, I covered around about 30km. And I managed to hit 46 km/h on the St Kilda Rd hill, the one with the lovely coasty road surface. I'm such a speed junkie. :)

Living-place-wise, I found two I'm going to apply for, one with one bedroom in Carlisle St that Phil came with me to look at, and one with two bedrooms. So, [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com], I need to see you soonish, preferably tomorrow at lunch, so you can fill this application form in. There's also an open house inspection on Wednesday evening for another two-bedroom place that you can come with me to look at.

After the hunting wore thin (it's the worst part of moving house, imo), I had lunch with Phil, which was good, since I hadn't seen Phil since Auscon finished. And no alcohol was consumed by me, since I was feeling a bit weary, what with missing a pint of blood and having just flogged my way around St Kilda all morning. Water is of the strong.

Besides, I had a party to go to that afternoon - some of my karate buddies invited me over for sangria and punch. :)

Freaky conincidence, though. [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com], do you remember some boys from your school called Bence, Andrew and Gabe? Because Bence and Andrew are in my karate club, and I met Gabe last night, and they're all Stawell boys and proud of it, and that's where you went to school, yes?

Or I could be remembering wrong. They seemed to know your Dad as the really cool English teacher, tho'.

I wound up riding home a bit worse for it, and have been having a very lazy morning. So lazy that I have yet to have a shower, although brekkie has been eaten. Which is where I'm going. Besides, there were vague plans for me to go down to St Kilda again today, and it's a lovely day for cycling. Activity good, especially after much beer.

Besides, I found out I'd lost five kilos when I went to the blood bank yesterday, which prompts me to do more exercise and get rid of the rest of the flab. :)
