So that's that
Jan. 18th, 2004 06:13 pmI'm standing here in the kitchen of my about-to-be former abode in Brunswick, which reeks of cleaners and slightly damp carpet (from the steam cleaning). Everything I own (my computer and cleaning supplies excluded) is now at my new abode in St Kilda. I'm exhausted, but I have a warm and fuzzy feeling that isn't associated with cleaning product fumes. *grins*
I have a good feeling about this new place.
New contact details to be posted when I have confirmation of the new phone number. I won't have an actual phone until Friday (the previous tenants of the new place took the phone with them, bastards, so I have to get a new one), but I should have Net acces tomorrow.
Many, many thanks to my moving crew: my brother David, [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] and [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com]. It was the easiest move yet and I really appreciate the blood, sweat and tears.
And now I have to take the carpet cleaner back to the supermarket and get some food before I pass out.
