So, Saturday night I went to see David Bridie playing at the Brunswick Music Festival with [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com], and [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com]. One of the many good things about David Bridie gigs is that the support acts are always good, and this night was no exception: Rob Longstaff a bloke from Brisbane who plays bluesy type guitar and has a sense of humour. Very entertaining, and yes, I have another CD now for the collection.

David was great, as usual, although the show itself was short. It turns out Bounce's dad trains in karate with Phil, the guitarist David plays with, and he came and chatted with us. He did rather well, considering he'd been kicked in the hand that day and was shaping up for a pretty spectacular bruise.

Today was spent on the quiet side of things, watching Eddie Izzard and then Withnail and I. Eddie Izzard has possibly got to be one of the funniest men on earth, and at some stage I will have to appropriate the "Jeff, the God of Biscuits" joke. *grins*

*grfs* AIM is still down. This is annoying - I have things to finish with people.
