deathpixie: (firefly lust)
*grins* My work colleagues turn out at the barest mention of a birthday. Any way, Alex brought in home-made tiramisu, and it was a lot of coffee-flavoured creamy goodness. And this from the non-dessert eater. And since cake was provided, the money collected that would normally have gone to the Cheescake Shop went to a florist and a rather pretty bunch of flowers - roses and something else that is fuzzy and not really flower-like, but pretty all the same.

There was also a CD on my doorstep when I got back last night, from the ex. He's coming around tonight to do major maintenance on my poor Cecil, who has decided it's time to replace the drivechain. :P Which means not just the chain, but both sets of gears as well. Plus I need my wheels trued. Still, it's been a while since the last time.

And I just got an email from a Hilly. *smooches* Love you, mate.

Oh, and for those who know about my Top Secret Project - I've got that letter from my boss, and I know who to make the cheque out to. I'll be collecting that tonight, and everything should go in the post tomorrow morning, bright and early. So neener (that's for Dad, btw *grins*).

Receive a box of dozen roses for your birthday. [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com], you are a wonderful friend and I feel appropriately spoiled now. :)

I'm also wishing I had a scanner so I could share with the [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] folks the card I got from [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] with a very good sketch of my [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] on it. *hugs the BounceGirl*
