Yep, it's more cycling-related babbling. But hey, it's Tour time, you should be used to it by now.

Any way, it's Aussies all the way in stage 9. Robbie McEwan won his second stage for the Tour, and has consolidated his position as holder of the green sprinter's jersey. Stuart O'Grady came third, I think, and is now running second overall - stage 10 has some hills, and Stu's not a bad climber and is certainly in prime condition this year, so he's looking to hang onto that and possibly even sneak up into yellow.

*does the Tour de France booty dance*

Personally, the cycling's picking up. I'm trying a new system - I take the fast St Kilda Road route in the morning, and in the evenings, when time's not such a factor, I take the bike path that runs along the light rail line and then along the foreshore. It adds 5km to the trip (so I'm doing 15km a day now), and takes an extra fifteen minutes, but it's much more relaxing and I get an extra workout, which I need after five weeks of nothing. And especially since I'm not training at karate any more.

So, 15km a day, five days a week, makes 75km and a fitter Rossi. I'll have to make sure I stick with this when I get back after Canada.
