Well, these are my biking woes. I took my bike out for the first time in a long time Saturday, down to the bike store for info and to look at their selection of goods. The good news is that the best riding trail for newbies is around the lake and it goes for three miles or so. Very cool, but the lake is about four or five miles away as the crow flies, and I have no bike rack attached to my car. Plus, there isn't a local cycling group in town so I can't hook up with another rider who'd take me under their wing and take me to the lake and back.
Oh, and on my way back home, the chain slipped off my gears and it cost me $8 to have it put back on, and the bike shop guy said that I'm going to need a tuneup soon. I wish I had my own BRM like you do.
