Being productive.

1) Started on St John's Wort, to hopefully stablise the moods a tad and hopefully add an edge of reality to some of my thought processes lately, since Captain Paranoia has been driving this month.
2) Made the first contact with the local Fernwood gym. This is a gym that caters specifically for women, and is goal-oriented rather than just signing you up and letting you determine how often you go. And it looks like they'll give me the 3 month membership deal with the 10 weekly personal trainer sessions, with an option to pay for more personal trainer sessions when those run out. The person I was speaking to used to be a flight steward on Qantas international flights - she totally understood the shift work issues.
3) Made the decision to take a few steps back from things, and broaden my horizons since I've got no perspective whatsoever at the moment. Hopefully 1) and 2) will help with that too.
4) Bought myself some sneakers. They're plain and black, but they fit perfectly and are everything I want in a sneaker - no bells and whistles, just plain flat soles, sturdy uppers and stiff enough mostly to cycle in if I need to. They'll probably get covered in mud up in Sydney, but that's the other thing - they're washable. ;)
5) Talked to Phil. At length. Over beer, which is why the last post and the seediness this morning. *wry* But basically came to a bunch of conclusions I needed to come to for myself, and decided to stop letting things kick me in the teeth so much as they have been.
6) Been incredibly busy at work. We had three homicides in twelve hours. Looks like I'm not the only mood-swinging one.
7) Missed tonight's Tour coverage. *meeps* I was down at the gym and didn't get back in time. However, have taped the first and will be taping the rest.
