End of an era.

So, today is my last day at work. Or rather, my last half-day, since somehow along the way I managed to accrue half a day of rec leave, and owing to it messing up the rest of my leave arrangements, I'm taking it today and leaving at one. Means I get to go home before catching the train to Wodonga, and finish packing and the rest. Also means less places to lug stuff around. :)

I got a prezzie yesterday. And a card. It was very sweet of my co-workers. A nice bottle of red wine, and an $80 gift voucher for Myers. Mum? Shopping? *grins* I need a new wallet any way.

And it's done.

I've handed in my swipe card, given Rick my collection of official stamps and name tags, cleared up my stuff and gone. Well, technically it's leave without pay until February 2007, but yeah, it feels more permanent than that. Almost nine years of employment, done with. It's an interesting feeling.

Now all that's left is to take myself home to Wodonga for a few days, spend quality time drinking with Amanda tonight and tomorrow, and quality time seeing the rellos. Back in Melbourne Wednesday afternoon.

It's all happening rather fast.

And logging off for me now - not much is going on online given the time, and I have bags to pack.
