Snow!

It's snowing out there. Not a lot, and not enough to take photos of, but there's definitely snow. Light little specks of white stuff coming from the sky...

*hmms* I need a snow icon.

And yes, I know I'll lose my enthusiasm for the stuff after several months of struggling through it to get anywhere, but let me have my fun. ;)

Edit: Guess I was wrong about the amount - there's definitely a lot more snow out there than there was earlier, and it's sticking all right. Everything's turning white. I go a photo when I was taking out the rubbish.

Being productive

So, today I made a batch of spinach and cheese triangles (not as many as I'd have liked, but I ran out of filo), cleaned out the cupboard under the sink and reorganised it so all the Tupperware-type stuff is in one box where it won't get in the way too much, and did the same with the bathroom cupboard. Oh, and took out the garbage since it was full. It's stuff I've been mentally reminding myself to do for a week now, so I'm glad I finally got it done. Especially the cupboard under the sink - that's been driving me bonkers and hopefully the box will enable things to stay organised a bit longer. *wry*

Tonight is movie night - Mindy and Johnny are coming over and we're going to be eating of the snacks and watching of the movies, although I'm not sure what yet. Johnny could do with it - he just found out the Thursday night gig at the Dark Horse has been cancelled. :( This string of bad luck my friends are having? Whoever's responsible for it, please stop. It's getting to be a bit much.

The snow seems to have stopped for now - there's maybe half an inch out there? Possibly more.
