A good kind of f-up...

So, Dex and I just watched Nightwatch, a Russian sci-fi/horror/fantasy movie about the Agreement between the Forces of Light and Dark. It was released in Australia not long before I left - I saw the trailer during the Serenity screening - but given all the moving stuff I had to do I didn't get around to seeing it in the theatre. [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] found it on DVD for me and ordered me a copy and it arrived around New Year's. All the menus are in Russian, which elicited some trial and error in finding the subtitles, but once I did...

Great stuff. Totally screwed up, but in a really great way. And things don't turn out at all as you expect, which makes it all the better.
