No wonder I had to close my window last night - there's quite the dumping of snow out there.

And now to work.

Q: When is a tuna melt not considered a sandwich?

A: When it's being eaten by a staff member of Bread and Roses during their break.

Have I mentioned my boss is insane? *shakes head* Apparently for meal breaks I'm allowed to have a tuna salad sandwich with cheese, but I'm not allowed to have a single tuna melt, which actually uses less ingredients.

No, I don't understand it either.

Also, I'd like you all to meet the competition for my attention - GIP! This is Tara, my guitar. The photo was taken by [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] during New Year's. I didn't actually know how to play it at that stage, but I liked to plunk on the strings and make noises. ;) Yes, that would be my hand. I was having a bad hair day, so you don't get the rest. *grins*

Although most probably know about it already: The Bedlam Bards have released their Firefly tribute album. Yes, these are the guys of "Big Damn Trilogy" and "The Ballad of Joss" fame. There's samples on the site, and they're actually rather musically inclined...

Not one of the mprov fics, but something I wrote a couple of years ago and didn't like the ending. So I re-wrote it. Enjoy.

Fandom: Hellblazer/Books of Magic.

Rating: PG-13 for some swearing.

Summary: John Constantine and Tim Hunter have breakfast and discuss the state of Tim's magic. They're unaware they're providing an eavesdropper with some interesting ideas.

Set early on in Tim's career of being potentially this era's most powerful mage. Apologies for any offence caused by Certain Implications. ;)

No profit, only homage. And possibly some piss-taking.

Inspiration in Strange Places. )
