Another day ends.
Jun. 2nd, 2006 09:51 pmI went and saw X3 after work too, since I wanted to and the roomies weren't really keen. I enjoyed it - not so much for the movie itself, but what it lends itself too in the way of extrapolation. The possible consequences of a cure, the political framework of the pre-, during and post-movie 'verse, the use of various characters ([Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com], were you all O.O about the spiny guy like I was? I swear, I made Eddie up without spoilers from the movie!), that sort of thing. I'm not so much a ravening fangirl that I expect everything to be perfectly comics canon, and whilst some characters were given a raw deal, what was done did make sense in terms of catalysing further events (I can't be bothered making a spoiler-cut so I'm being vague). So yeah, enjoyed myself and wouldn't consider it a waste of time, life or money to go see.
And now I think I'll go to bed, actually. I'm supposed to meet the others at the pub, but I'm feeling... off. Tired and vaguely cranky and not terribly social. *wry* Story of my life lately.
