I had my appointment with the ear specialist today, and it looks like there's a diagnosis. I need more tests at the hospital downtown to be sure but it looks like I have benign paroxysmal positional vertigo. The link has all the nifty details. I've been given the exercises to do (and yay, making myself dizzy on purpose, what fun!) and after the tests I have another appointment with the specialist to discuss what happens next.

Tests won't be until July 20 and the follow up is early August, so in the meantime I'll have to get used to it. Lately it's been better and I'm figuring out what sets it off and avoiding doing those things. Hopefully the exercises will help too. But otherwise I have to grin and bear the moments where the world starts spinning. *wry*
