Bright sunshiney day

Or perhaps I should be quoting "I can see clearly now the rain has gone"? Either way, it's a gorgeous day out there, the roommate is employed in a good job he'll like, my rent is in the roomie's account, the wedding is next week, I had my hair done yesterday and it looks fabulous with streaks of blonde and copper in the brown (no photos until I get back, unfortunately, I left the cable to connect my camera to the computer in Canada, boo) and I'm heading down to Melbourne today.

Of course, I'm completely broke and still waiting on the Tax Department before I can make actual firm plans to get to Brisbane 'cause I suck with a credit card, but there's not a lot I can do about that yet, so worrying isn't going to change things.

But yeah. Suddenly life is looking a lot more up. Life, as the incredibly worn-out t-shirt from California says, is Good.

Even if my aunt who lives 10 km away can get wireless access and I can't. ;P
