Yay for routine...
Nov. 21st, 2006 09:17 amBeing back at work has helped the jet lag a lot - if I have to get up, I seem to be more inclined to force myself to sleep. So yeah, starting to get back into normal patterns again.
It's been cold here the last couple of days. Tiny amounts of snow yesterday morning, clear and crisp today. I think I might get out for a walk at lunchtime - the hassle with bringing my lunch is a) I don't get outside and b) since I eat at my desk, I don't actually get a break, since I'm still working. :P Roll on solvency.
Some good news - well, rumour with pretty good basis in fact - today re work. The girl I'm replacing is looking at asking until May 2007 off. So, I've potentially got steady work for at least until after the holidays, which are a notorious downtime for job searching. Not that I'm going to sit back and coast on this job - once I've updated the resume, I'll be making sure it gets out there again.
Still no sign of my tax return. :( I need to call them tonight and make sure they got my correction - it's been a month, dammit. And I need that money to keep the credit card people from sending any more nasty letters. And to pay for my RPG accounts - Amanda's extra user pics have expired and Yvette's paid account is going to expire any day now. :(
Pay day tomorrow. Never has so little been looked forward to so much.
