Turning corners...
Apr. 24th, 2007 09:55 amSo, I woke up this morning to find the pain is still there, but it's reduced. Same with the nausea - admittedly I haven't eaten breakfast, but I did have juice and I didn't have to take a Gravol since the queasiness was only for a short time. I also discovered the best way to ensure I get a full night's sleep is to take a Gravol when I go to bed - anti-nausea meds knock me out. We'll see how the day turns out.
And, because I was in pain and blah and cranky on Sunday and couldn't properly appreciate things, many thanks to Cos, Disa and Dex for the very yummy dinner I had last night - baked potato, BBQ shrimp and salad. Dex was right about the new salad dressing. So good. But yeah, it was good to actually appreciate food again - I've been essentially choking it down and waiting for Blah. Eating last night was a pleasant surprise, despite the mouldy cheese conversation on XP. *grins*
Today I'm wearing my cute little black skirt and the dark red knit top Mindy gave me, on honour of what I'm hoping is going to be a Good Day. I also finally got organised with plans for my birthday (May 6 for the party, for those interested, ping me).
It's also sunny. Has been for the last four days, except for the rainstorm yesterday at home time. I used the underground tunnel to the Queens Park subway for the first time ever, since I had the laptop and I didn't want to risk it getting wet. Not something I'd do on a regular basis, but it's handy to know about. Especially on those minus 30 degree days. ;)
