Medical-fu
Apr. 28th, 2007 10:38 amX-ray's in, blood results still aren't so I have to call back Monday. I've made an appointment with my family doctor for Friday at 2:30 pm, just to give the blood time to get in.
Appetite and eating are mostly back to normal. The pain's more tenderness now, although it does sharpen if I dehydrate, so I've been very good about drinking water - two 750 ml bottles a day, plus juice in the morning and (Canadian) iced tea at night (it's not tea at all, just a flavoured drink powder that takes the blah out of water. ;) ). Some foods do make it hurt more, as does forgetting to eat, so I've got a built-in requirement to be healthy. *wry*
Counselling session yesterday went well. Something about being sick gave me the chance to process a bunch of stuff, and come to some realisations. There's still issues - some reactions I've been having are testament to that - but I think I'm recovering my zen. Of course, the sunny weather lately possibly has been helping. :)
Baseball with the roomie today, Brian's 30th birthday party tonight, so I'll be offline in about ten minutes for a good while. Have a good day, all. *hugs* In the words of the Prophet... be excellent to each other, yeah?
