XP: Revenge of the Wiki!

Yes, I've been in meetings today. It always makes me a bit weird, especially when the meeting is regarding a conviction database that actually had me going "wow, my Wiki research experience could help a lot here..."

If I get bored/time free this afternoon, I might even write up Wendigo. I did the villain page last night from the bio submitted. Yes, boys and girls, writing bios for plot submissions for new NPCs is very useful, which is why the policy now asks for them.

My day

• Two hour meeting on a new database that will need a buttload of research to get on board with, but man is it shiny.


• Lunch at my desk because I had to leave early today.


• Co-workers complaining about the strong smell of parmesan cheese from my lunch, and subsequent grr anger from me as I pointed out I was eating as fast as I could and this was why I rarely brought lunch to work. Wankers.


• Last minute affidavit and couriering job from Alvin, for his Bailiff's Act matter on Friday.


• Counselling. Which went pretty well, except for the part where I hadn't had time to print out my last batch of thought records and so had to babble a lot instead. Noting of positives within my day encouraged.


• Walk home. Cold, but kind of invigorating, except for the last couple of blocks where the rushing around all day caught up with me. There's a thin layer of snow on everything that is very pretty.


• Missed chance for dinner with [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com], due to return text coming in the middle of counselling and my brain failing on me entirely when I called her back, thus resulting in vague babble.


• Chores - kitty litter, trash and last night's dishes. Roomie apparently dead or in a coma in his room, which is warranted given it's his turn for the flu. Doing this sort of stuff is actually good for putting my brain back in order, as is the walk.


• Right now... bath. With the pear-scented bubble bath I hope I can actually smell this time. Hopefully this proceeding will rejuvenate me before Band Night, because the flu (plus work) is still kicking my butt, albeit with less force than last week. I'll also take the four remaining drabble prompts I have, hoping they'll grow into actual drabbles.
