A dream of summer
Feb. 11th, 2008 11:21 amLast night I had a dream where I was back on the farm, visiting my folks with a bunch of the Toronto people. It was summer - everything was dry and yellow and the sky went on forever. There was a bit where I was running down a hill towards them in bare feet, the grass warm and springy and crisp under my toes. Not such a surprising dream, as I'd been talking to them earlier that day about their visit in May.
Contrast to this morning: icy snow, temperatures in the scary places, windchill making them worse. I slipped and fell on the ice this morning - no damage done, as I landed on my well-padded butt, almost a perfect break fall, actually. Yep, I think I'm just about done with winter. *wry*
