deathpixie: (setting of the sun)
So, Operation: George last night went well, although it would have gone better if I'd had more than four hours of sleep the night before. *wry* But yeah, had a good time - and what's more, had a relaxing time. I did pike on the pub at the end, since by that stage I was so tired I was feeling dizzy and a bit sick to the stomach (although that might have been all the sushi - OMG, Ben, Jen, we have to go there next time you guys are visiting!), and all I wanted to do was pass out.

Somehow I wound up getting four visits to one of the local spa/beauty treatment places, usually $200-odd, for $55. One of the bonuses is 20% off hairstyle etc for a friend. I don't think I got scammed - it was some Valentine's promotion, and whilst there was a pretty hard sell, after the four visits there's no obligation to sign anything. The fine print seems kosher too. So yeah, four girly trips for me between now and June. ;)

No Country For Old Men was indeed awesome. Had me really on the edge of my seat, and the ending was fantastic - very non-usual for the type of movie it was. And they had a preview for Vantage Point, the movie Dex and I can never remember the name of, but which looks amazing too.

Speaking of... Dex? Do you remember what that epiphany about dating and relationships was I had in the pub the other night? I can't remember it for the life of me, what with the sleep deprivation.
