Taking a breath

Today's been every inch as busy as I thought it would be. Managed to grab ten minutes to go downstairs for a Coke to go with lunch, and I've had about ten-fifteen minutes of quiet now waiting for Alvin to finish a tape for me. At 4:21 p.m.

Yeah, it's a "spork in the face" kind of day.

I'm probably going to wind up doing overtime again, if only to get the rest of Alvin's stuff finished before he goes away on vacation. A week and a bit of one lawyer again, bliss.

It's entirely likely I won't be online tonight, mostly because the idea of spending the evening organising anyone else makes me want to bash my head on the desk. Also, I've been doing it so long, I apparently can't interact with anyone without trying to organise. So yeah, break for me tonight, back to everything tomorrow.

Got home at 7. Just in time - the skies have opened up, it's thundering and lightning out there like armageddon and apparently we have a tornado watch for the city.

Yikes.
