Pros and cons
Jan. 12th, 2011 11:59 amFor various reasons, yesterday was a crappy day - work blah, sinus blah, forgetting to pick up my package at the post office blah, our apartment is a disaster due to ceiling repairs blah, etc, etc. I wound up taking what was supposed to be a nap, but which turned into a ten-hour sleep as I slept through the roomie leaving for band night.
Despite missing John and the boys, this was a good thing. I feel much, much better.
Today is definitely shaping up to be better. No-one's missed a court case, my work demands are reasonable and my sinuses have eased a bit since it's actually started snowing (yes, my nose knows when it's going to snow. Say that three times fast). I also have therapy tonight so I won't be able to pick up my parcel again, which is a bummer, but ah well, can't have everything.
Also, a lady on the subway gave me a tissue when my usual morning dry air sneezing attack resulted in sniffles. Random act of kindness, for the win.
