Survivor - the Toronto Summer Edition
Jul. 22nd, 2011 10:54 amSo, we managed to survive yesterday's insane heat wave, although sleep, it was difficult. Apparently I sweated so much I actually had curly hair this morning, what the hell. I'm pretty sleep deprived by now and my mood is kind of bouncing around everywhere, so apologies in advance if you wind up with BitchyRossi by accident.
Tonight should be a bit easier, since I'll be out of the house for most of the evening - it's Johnny's birthday bash tonight. Then we're heading out to a friend's farm in Newmarket for the day, where we'll be indulging in a Slip 'n' Slide and wading pool and all those other wacky things adults do when it's insanely hot. Sunday is Shakespeare in the Park with Dex's parents - mental note MAKE SURE YOU BRING BUG SPRAY!!! - which will be fun, even if A Winter's Tale is a bit out of place considering the season. ;)
Work continues to be work. I have my weekly filing to do, whee. I also have my hair in pigtails today to let my neck get some air - it's freaking adorable.
